Day 1 : Arriving at Darjeeling (2134 Mt.)

Arrive at Darjeeling the hill capital of the West Bengal or the capital of Gorkhaland

Day 2 : Transfer to Dhotrey by Bus/Jeep. Trek to Tumling (2900 Mt.) 7 km.

First day is quite an easy hike across scenic locations to go on top of India, cross a border outpost and head into Tumling (Nepal). But the most amazing experience on this trip was the beautiful trees and birds chirping, while we overlooked the clear blue skies.  The true beauty of this experience was our feeling of being in a different country and trekking to it. 

Day 3 : Trek to Kalipokhri (3108 Mt.) 13 km.

Today’s trek is quite challenging with 13kms trek to Kalipokhri which means The black Lake in Nepali.

Day 4 : Trek to Sandakphu (3636 Mt.) 6 km.

Day 5 : Trek to Gurdum (2910 Mt.) 14 km.

Day 6 : Trek to Rimbik (2286 Mt.)  Back to Darjeeling
