India is celebrating its 61st Republic Day...after a long time I wathced the live telecast of Rajpath parade...in which India showcased its military might. Though the Delhi's infamous thick fog plays a dampner...but I was missing it. I watched the entire telecast, President Pratibha Patil conferred the Ashoka Chakra to Havildar Rajesh Kumar (posthumous) of The Rajputana Rifles his wife received the medal, Major D. Sreeram Kumar and Majar Mohit Sharma (posthumous). I salute to the heroes of the nation.
In the evening i watched the play Broken Images ..Shabana Azmi's act was was wonderful.
